Reginald David Bolin

Reginald David Bolin, 36 of Schaumburg was called home to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013.  He was born July 11th, 1977 in Milwaukee, WI to Mary and Maurice Bolin.  He was a loving husband and affectionately known as “Honey Bun” by his wife Ratisha Bolin.  When he was a young man he was an acolyte at St. Dismas Catholic Church in Waukegan.  He mentored youth at Second Baptist of Elgin where he also served as a coach for the church’s basketball team.  Reggie had a love for cars, electronics and technology in general.  He was loved by many and his infectious smile inspired all who knew him.  Reggie was a big man in stature, but had even a larger heart.

 

Reginald is survived by his loving wife Ratisha or “Sugacane” (as he called her), mother; Mary A. Bolin, father; Maurice (Elva J.) Bolin, brothers; Eldridge, David Patrick (Brenda) Bolin, Clifford, sister-in-law-Janine Ernest, brother-in-law Detrone Turner, nephews and niece; Andrew, Aniya and Ja’Cari, a host of aunts and uncles including special cousin LeRoy (Carla) Fullwood Jr. and close friends; Aaron (Ashley) Coleman, Andre (Tiffany) Negron, Tobias Beale and so MANY others.

 

Reginald Bolin was preceded in death by his grandparents; Andrew & Leola Dickerson and Rufus & Cara Bolin.
