 Betty L. Runge, 83, of DeKalb, formerly of St. Charles passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 in her home. She was born July 8, 1934 in Elgin the daughter of George C. and Frances Ione Stewart Schultz. She had been a resident of St. Charles for over 30 years and DeKalb for the past 18 years.
Surviving are her 4 children, Judith Hoare, Jerry Runge, Janette (Charles “Bob”) Wilderspin and Jill (Joel) Johnson, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step father, Elmer Wilcox, and a daughter, Joan.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 5 at Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, Elgin. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
