Ursula Marie (Napieralski) Sieracki, 88 past peacefully on July 21, 2018. Beloved spouse of Edward Sieracki.   Daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Napieralski of South Chicago. Beloved parents of Carole, Ann (Jeff), Edward Jr. and preceded in death by daughter Jean (Bob). Loving grandparents to Katherine, Margret, William, Madeline and Benjamin. Son of the late Peter and Mary Sieracki. Survived by sister Barbara and preceded in death by siblings Leonard, Helen, Peter, Louise, Norbert, Mary, Joey, Rev. Aloysius O. Carm and Tom. Daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Napieralski.
Edward and Ursula were married for 66 years and enjoyed social activities including the arts, bridge games and travelling the world. Dancing was a passion for both. Ursula was an only child with many cousins but joined Ed’s large Sieracki clan upon marriage. They really enjoyed being together with family and friends. Ursula loved throwing parties whether it be a backyard luau, a beatnik gathering or fondue tastings. Edward enjoyed Saturday breakfast with his YMCA buddies and ownership of a racehorse with other close friends. Edward will always be remembered for his insatiable “Sieracki sweet tooth” and Ursula for her expertise at baking desserts.
Edward and Ursula lovingly raised 4 children. While Ed pursued his accounting business, Ursula took the kids to the beach, sewed their outfits and supported their activities in school clubs. Edward was a co-founding partner of Mueller & Company where his leadership and focus on client relationships helped create the exemplary firm it is today. Outside of work, his true passion was fishing walleye and trout. Ursula used her talents to teach catechism, chair parish activities and participate in the St. Thomas More Women’s Club. She liked to swim and exercise at the YMCA. Her true passion was having dynamic conversations about politics, artistic venues, current events, social justice and influential women. They both appreciated relationships with individuals at Sheridan Tyler Creek, Marshall Fields, Elgin Community College, Judson University and The Life Center.
A celebration of their lives will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 215 Thomas More Drive, Elgin, IL 60123. Chapel visitation 9-10:30am followed by Mass at 10:30am.
