On Saturday, June 22, 2019 Frank E. DeLoncker Jr, loving husband and father of three passed away at the age of 68. Frank was born on December 23, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Florence (Bandelin) DeLoncker. On May 18, 1974 he married Debbie Garnhart and together they raised a daughter and two sons.

He is survived by his wife Debbie, his daughter Jennifer Tuton, his sons Frank E DeLoncker III (Sarah) and Brian DeLoncker, his siblings Bruce (Debbie), Barry, Robert (Ronell), Kathy (Larry) Ohm, Michael (Tina), Karen (Rodney) Hilton, his grandsons Kaleb DeLoncker and Caiden Tuton, his granddaughters Alice DeLoncker and Kinsli Meloney, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Frank worked at Donlen Corporation since 2008. He loved the band Chicago and enjoyed his sports! His life was one of service to others. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elgin but didn’t let the building confine his faith. He believed that we could never change the world just by going to church. He modeled the need to be the church on the outside too with his huge heart and use of his spiritual gifts. He was often seen leading the pack at local events and parades as the commander of his Amvet group Post 202. He loved serving this great nation in the United States Army and had a passion for politics. He was the spiritual leader of the family and openly expressed gratitude for his beautiful wife, successful children, and every moment he had with his grandchildren. Frank’s genuine soul will continue to inspire others to be better, do more and to love God and others daily. As a 4-year cancer survivor he valued time as one of our most precious gifts. He had an energy that lit up the room and a unique gift of leaving others with the impression of increase. He is an amazing example of purpose behind human creation, a creation and strength for which we are forever grateful!

Frank was reunited in Heaven with his father, mother and nephew. A service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elgin on July 2, 2019 at 11:00am. Donations and condolences can be sent to the DeLoncker family at 1050 Adrienne Dr. in South Elgin, IL 60177. www.lairdfamilyfuneralservices.com. 847-741-8800.
