Michael Kent McCall

 Michael was born on March 10, 1957 to Herbert Daniel Sr. and Nellie Delois McCall (Sadberry). He was a dedicated husband to his wife, Dianne, a devoted father to his children, and a beloved grandfather to his grandchildren. He served in the United States Army Reserve. Michael loved his family, and he loved serving the Lord. Michael loved sharing the message of Love, Grace and Mercy to everyone he would meet. Michael served as Pastor of Manifold Mercies Christian Center, of Elgin, Illinois. Many lives were saved under this ministry. He was influential in many people’s lives and led a lot of people to Christ. He was also a devoted member of Faithwalk Harvest Center. Michael loved joy and laughter. He loved music, singing, and was often called Motown Mike. Michael loved being a commercial printer, fishing, cooking, playing cards and reading science fiction novels. He was one of the best Bid Whist players in the Mid-West, if not the best. Michael worked at and operated several printing companies throughout the years. He started printing at age 11, when he helped his parents with their printing company, Rapid Printing Service, of Kalamazoo, Michigan. He leaves to mourn a devoted and loving wife, Dianne Lynn McCall of 40 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Shaunna (Dexter), Michael Jr. (Bernnadette), Ronald, Daniel Sr. (Tara) and Shayla; his grandchildren, Na’Kiyya, Niajha, Xavier, Alexandria, Jaiden, Elijah, Jasmine, Chyane, Jashayla, Arianna, Daniel Jr., Olivia, Jayson and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Esther McCall, Janet (Jerry) Wilson, Herbert McCall Jr., Brian (Susan) McCall, Phillip (Lisa) McCall Sr., James (Monica)McCall, and special sister, Jeri Smith; two special friends, Reginald and Theresa Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Daniel Sr. and Nellie Delois McCall (Sadberry); brother, Clifton McCall; sister, Helen Pratt; niece, Lola Guy; and nephews, Jeffrey Moore and Anthony Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Wait Ross Allanson Funeral Chapel, 51 Center St. Elgin. Burial will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services at the funeral Home. For information call 847-742-2100
