 William F. Christenson, 91, of Elgin passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Advocate Sherman Hospital, Elgin. He was born February 15, 1929 in Elgin the son of William and Lucille Youngs Christenson. He had been a resident of the Elgin area all of his life and was employed by school district U-46 as a custodian for 25 years before retiring. He was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Whetstone Christenson whom he married on October 7, 1950, 3 children, Christine Coffey, Arlene (Steven) Cooper and William J. (Jean) Christenson, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Sally Johnson, 2 brothers, James (Patricia) and Gerald (Sandy) Christenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
