Marie L. Schlig, 87, of South Elgin, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Heritage Manor, Elgin. She was born on October 2, 1933 in Mobile, AL the daughter of Erwin & Elizabeth Pringle Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters Melanie (Mark B. Duncan) and Teri (Paul Wren) King, a grandson Bradley King and a brother Erwin “Butch” (Carol) Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband William P. Schlig in 2009.
