Iona M. Woodrick, 98, of Elgin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Sheridan at Tyler Creek, Elgin. She was born on September 2, 1922 in Rockford the daughter of Donald & Alice Bauch Roser. She was a resident of Elgin since 1967 and was the manager of Fire Side Realtors before retiring. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church (New Life Covenant Church of Elgin), the National Association of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
She is survived by a daughter Christine (Ronald) Lynn; 2 sons: Dennis (Cynthia) Woodrick and Mark (Mary) Woodrick; granddaughters Kelly (Bill) Douglas and Grace Woodrick; great grandchildren Nathan and Natalie Douglas.
Iona was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald Woodrick.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. A private service for the family will follow.
