Carl was like a big brother to me. He helped me find my first apartment in Elgin. He introduced me to the joys of minor league baseball. We had many great times at ball parks in Illinois,Wisconsin and Iowa. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Saying prayers for Mary Ellen and family. The loss of our loved ones is so hard but I pray all your memories will bring your heart comfort.

What a fun loving and generous person "Skip"was. I will always remember him for our discussion of Chicago politics and for his bravura performance as one of the three kings. He also introduced me to that most subversive periodical Mad Magazine. Our thoughts are on Mary Ellen, Jason, Aaron, Ken and the 4 grandchildren.

Carl was a fellow department chairman and we both helped open SHS. He was a tireless worker and was responsible for the success of the Union. Condolences to the family. You have lost a wonderful person.
